This Beef & Broccoli Ramen Noodles recipe is a fast, protein-packed meal made with thinly sliced grass-fed sirloin or flank steak. Searing the beef hot and fast keeps it tender while soaking up a lightly sweet and savory sauce. Paired with broccoli and better-for-you ramen noodles, it’s an easy weeknight dinner or meal-prep favorite that holds up beautifully for leftovers.
Ingredients
- (1lb) Top Sirloin Steak
- (2 cups) Broccoli
- (4 oz) Ramen Noodles
- (3 Tbsp) Soy Sauce
- (1 Tbsp) Oyster Sauce
- (1 1/2 Tbsp) Honey
- (3 Tbsp) Water
- (2 tsp) Sesame Oil
- (chopped (optional)) Green Onion
- (optional) Sesame Seeds
Directions
- Cook the noodles
Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package directions (usually about 3–4 minutes). Drain and set aside. - Make the sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster (or hoisin) sauce, honey, and water. Set aside. - Prepare the beef
Thinly slice the steak against the grain.
Tip: Freeze the beef for about 1 hour before slicing to make it easier to cut thin. - Pre-cook the broccoli
Place broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl with 2 Tbsp water. Microwave for no more than 1 minute, just until slightly tender and bright green. - Sear the beef
Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Lightly spray with avocado oil (or another high-smoke-point oil).
Add the beef in a single layer and let it sear undisturbed for 3–5 minutes until browned. It’s okay if there are still a few pink pieces. - Add broccoli
Toss in the broccoli and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes, just until vibrant green. - Combine & finish
Add the cooked noodles and sauce to the wok. Toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through. Finish with sesame oil if using. - Serve
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy immediately or store for later.
