When you order a half beef, you get a lower per-pound price across the entire cut—steaks, roasts, ground beef, and more. Instead of paying steak prices for every pound, you pay one flat rate per pound on the whole half.

Each 1/2 beef typically yields 200–250 lbs of beef, depending on the animal.
